  1. SECRETARY Version 2.0
  2. An Electronic Document Management (EDM) software
  3. for Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and Windows NT.
  4.  
  5. Thank you for your interest in SECRETARY electronic filing system.
  6.  
  7. SECRETARY is an easy-to-use file management system which is useful for
  8. private companies as well as the government institutions whom wanted to
  9. convert the office into a paperless environment.  Besides managing documents,
  10. it is also useful for home business and small businesses to track the invoices
  11. deadlines and follow up with the outstanding bill to be collected by the
  12. date alert function.

  14. There are 3 zip files for the SECRETARY filing system:
  15. Sectary.zip (2,348kb) consist of the SECRETARY program;
  16. SecTutor.zip (4,052kb) contain the tutorial for SECRETARY program; and
  17. SecManul.zip (957kb) contain the user's manual for the SECRETARY program.

  19. SECRETARY program needs to be copied to two diskettes (disk1 & disk2).
  20. To keep SECRETARY portable for installation, follow the following instructions:
  21. 1. Extract Sectary1.zip
  22. 2. Copy setup.exe to disk1
  23. 3. Copy setup.w02 to disk2
  24.  
  25. To install SECRETARY for the personal computers and workstations:
  26. Insert disk1 and run setup.exe
  27.  
  28. To activate the program, the initial unlock code is (case sensitive):
  29. User's Name: SECTARY
  30. Password:    SECTARY
  31.  
  32. After activated SECRETARY, you can run the setup program to re-set your
  33. users and the passwords.

  35. To read the manual, follow the following instructions:
  36. 1. Extract SecManul.zip
  37. 2. Run complet2.doc (with MS Word)
  38.  
  39. The SECRETARY program is freely distributable.  However, it is advisable for users
  40. to contact the software company to register their copy as registered users will
  41. be entitled for future upgrading information.

  43. SECRETARY is program for a trial usage period of 30 days.
  44. Users can use the software as long as they want by registering the software with Haydn
  45. Technologies Pte Ltd after 30 days of usage.
  46. Registered users will be allocated a restore code to extend the trial usage
  47. period for another 30 days.  Users need to register again after 30 days to extend for
  48. another 30 days.
  49. Users who purchase SECRETARY will be allocated a serial number and an unlock code.
  50. The unlock code will enable SECRETARY to be used for unlimited period of times
  51. without further registration.
